Atheists, have you ever considered worshiping science?

I don't need to worship anything, I am not that insecure. I reject the concept of organised religion, as it seems to cause wars, rob a person of logic and reason, and it is a way to control freedom. I don't a have a yearning for a mythical being, so no 'God shaped hole' to fill.
