Experiences with prescribed Adderall?

I want to know some side effects of taking Adderall AS PRESCRIBED, maybe long term. I take 20mg XR on school days ONLY, and have been prescribed for almost 5 years. I know that a study drug is appropriate for me. I ask my current therapist every month if I can try instant release because I don't rest easy night and I think the XR is unnecessary because I have only about 4 hours of cl a day. She refuses to let me try anything else and insists that this scrip is just right. I feel like this is uprooting my mental stability.
