What would be my chances of getting into a medical school from the University of Central Florida?

I am really looking into the University of Central Florida for premed, but I have been advised not to go there because people say that if i do i won't get into medical school. I know that the University just opened their own highly competitive medical school but if I attended, I would be looking at other medical schools. Do you think that UCF would be a smart choice for me?
