I need help trying to get a juvenile robin to eat?

feed him wet cat/dog food kitten/puppy food is the best or get worms and cut them into small pieces and pry his mouth open but be EASY so u dont hurt him and shove it down his throat if cared for 4 babies robins the will start letting u feed them after a few days when the realize ur helping them and start to know u as there mommie or daddie
