A powerful, accurate pellet/air rifle to simulate practice with a scoped .30-30 rifle. Possible/worthwhile?

your better off with a .22 rimfire to get used to the noise...but the inner city situation is tough. probably wont allow it. very low noise and recoil. I was 7 when i shot my first one.
