Questions about medical school?
You need a 4-year college degree (bachelors), the premed cles, and high MCAT scores to apply to medical school. Med school is another 4 years after college, followed by 3+ years of residency (training). Med schools can cost more than 50k a year; most doctors have over 250k in debt after graduating even though many got good scholarships for undergrad. Doctors make between 100k and 500k depending on the specialty (more years in residency usually means higher average pay). They also pay a ton of insurance costs, and work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. The two fields you mentioned make a salary on the lower end of the pay scale for doctors.
