Used Medal of Honor Pacific ault?

I bought it on Ebay used. I tried to register it so i could play online. but apparently it was already registered. i contacted EA and they sayd i could not play that spacific game unless i sent it in and pay'd ten bux for a new registration code! SOUNDS LIKE SH!T TO ME!! is there any other way i could play online with this game?
