What do you think of this joke?

so a few days ago at school i told my friend a joke because he looks indian but is hispanic the joke was "hey pina could you hook us up with some Slurpee's since your cool with the people at 7eleven?" a bit racist i know but my friends found it funny but he didn't get the joke so what do you think?
