How can you cook Round Steak and make it tender I already know low heat anything else? how do YOU season them?
The best way to cook round steak is always to pound it. If you have a meat mallet it works best, but you can use any tool that will flatten the meat to thin, but don't tear it. Pound in flour, salt & pepper, garlic powder and any steak seasoning you like. Cook it slow in a frying pan, covering it after you have browned it on both sides. You can add one of those gravy mixes in the packets that you mix w/water, covering the meat. There are many flavors with or without mushrooms-Onion gravy is always good, even the gravy that comes in the can is always good too. Also, try razzledazzlerecipes.com (as I tell everyone) The website has anything & everything you might want to cook and easy instructions how to, lots of beef & pork roast recipes. I have tried them and was very happy with the results. You can check on the round steak there too. Good luck to you, I'm sure you will do fine.
